Welcome to Primary Traffic Art Gallery. This is my first time exibiting art. I am a self taught artist exploring new realms of painting. I constantly update my selection of pieces as well as provide custom work from digital photo's for those interested in having a one of a kind piece. I enjoy abstract art and the freedom of the mind to produce amazing pieces that leave you each person with a different impression. I am glad you dropped by for a visit. Please look at the Art Gallery link on the left to view my work.

My name is John Conner and I started painting in early 2009. I simply went to the hobby shop and bought all the supplies I thought I would need. I started looking at others work and trying to recreate it. I found I had a small amount of talent and have been producing about three paintings a week. I only do it in my spare time. I find painting is a great way to relax and wind down after work. My actual job that I make a living from is a police lieutenant in Florida. I have some really nice scenery for inspiration in my painiting from seascapes to serene rivers. I enjoy landscape and abstract painting the most. Basically this is a great hobby and I hope it inspires others to try it. I paint with acrylic only at this time due to the ease of cleanup and the forgiving nature of the paint to fix errors. I plan on trying watercolor and oils in the near future to expand my horizons. Basically I'm just your average Joe who picked up a brush and began painting.

In case you are wondering you will not find my art anywhere but on this website. I believe I am the hardist critic of my work which keeps me from displaying any pieces in our local galleries. I would really like comments on my work and for you 'good' artists some advice to improve any areas you see. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder which is why I put it all out in front of the world to see if I hit the hall of shame or fame. There is one fact about most people, they will let you know what they honestly think of something they see. Good or bad I appreciate all of your input.
